JoAnne Kasper recently moved to Sherwood Park, Alberta where she enjoys retirement and being close to her two delightful granddaughters. She lived for many years in North Battleford, Saskatchewan where she worked as a Learning Consultant for the Living Sky School Division. She holds a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction. JoAnne has a love of children and music, and so it was with great joy that she worked with Dianne Gryba as co-director of the Battlefords Children’s Choir program, of which started with Kamala Youth Choir and grew to include two choirs focused on younger singers. She has conducted school and church choirs, and accompanied and sung with a variety of choirs. Currently she sings with Vacilando.
