Kimberley Denis

Kimberley Denis, M.Mus. Choral Conducting and Vocal Performance (University of Alberta), B.Mus. (Mount Allison University), B.Comm. (Mount Allison University) is known for her energy and enthusiasm both on stage and off, and is sought after as a soloist, choral clinician and adjudicator for voice and choir. She has conducted a wide variety of ensembles across the province, and has been the guest conductor at Naramata Music Week, BC Chorfest, Festival 500: Cornerbrook Regional Festival in Newfoundland, and a number of school district honour choirs throughout Western Canada. She is a frequent musical theatre vocal coach for local colleges, universities and high schools. Kimberley is also a core singer with Pro Coro Canada, Edmonton's professional choir, and the director of the River City Chorus, a non-auditioned adult community choir in Edmonton. In addition to her work as a singer and conductor, she arranges pieces for choirs and is published by Cypress Music and Augsburg Fortress. She currently teaches voice through her own studio, Purple Door Music Academy, is the vocal coach for the Citadel Young Company, and is the voice instructor for the King’s University in Edmonton.
