Looking for a musical experience for your child aged 5 to 9 years? Tamariki is a perfect way to introduce singing: play-centered, active, and laying a wonderful foundation for musical learning.

Please note Tamariki is offered at two locations during the year, in different age groupings. All groups perform together. Please see the Tamariki page on our website for more information.

Curious about choir? Join us for this no-commitment free opportunity to see what an Òran rehearsal is like! You will have the option of joining in with the choir and singing along, observing, or any mix of the two. We will also have a brief chat about the choir's performance and learning opportunities and what is expected of members. No experience required!

Òran is our busiest adult ensemble, and is an auditioned group for mixed voices of all genders. While no experience is required to join, reading music and choral experience are assets as we have a busy schedule packed with music! For a slower-paced experience, check out Vacilando. For an upper voice ensemble option, check out ChandraTala.

McDougall United Church is locked at all times for security reasons, but you can enter the church via the ramp door on the south side of the building (MacDonald Drive). There should be someone available to admit you until about 8:35 PM, and we will post instructions for access on the door as well. McDougall's main space is accessible via a short flight of stairs or an elevator; the stage itself is only accessible by stairs. The church has an all-gender washroom available.

Curious about choir? Join us for this no-commitment free opportunity to see what a Shumayela rehearsal is like! No experience required. Prospective singers will be invited to sit with the group and sing along; parents/guardians are also welcome to observe.

Shumayela is an auditioned choir for youth ages 12 to 16 (must be 12 by January 1, 2027 for the coming season). Check out Kikimasu for younger kids, and Korora and Korus for older kids.

St Paul's Anglican has a step-free entrance on the south side of the church as well as handicapped parking. There is a short flight of stairs up to the rehearsal space as well as an elevator. Washrooms are accessible on the main floor. 

Our 30th anniversary season concludes with a concert celebrating our three adult choirs. Performing separately and as a mass choir, Òran, Vacilando, and ChandraTala will take you on a virtuoso musical odyssey reflecting on life’s transitions and stages.
