5th Annual Sing-A-Thon Fundraiser Is Coming Soon!
The Kokopelli season may be drawing to a close but there is one more event on our calendars before the year officially ends. On June 25 and 26, we will host the 5th Annual Sing-a-thon Fundraiser at the Bogani Cafe in south Edmonton. This chorister-led and -organized event aims to raise a whopping $10,000 for our African Projects Fund, supporting our twin choirs in South Africa and Namibia. With 24 continuous hours of live vocal music, fuelled by the great coffee at Bogani, choristers and local performers work hard to keep our twin choirs running.

How can you help?
Do you know a vocal performer or group who could perform a set? This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. We are still assembling our performer line-up for the Sing-a-thon!
Do you want to donate towards our goal? Come by the Bogani Cafe between 8 p.m. and midnight on June 25, or 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 26 and make an in-person donation. We issue tax receipts for all donations over $25.
Do you want to donate to our African Projects but can't be at the Sing-a-thon in person? Happily, in the age of the internet, nothing could be simpler. Point your browser to CanadaHelps, an online secure charitable donation site which accepts credit card payments. You can even pledge your donation over 12 months -- less than $10 a month will add up to $100 towards our goal, and we will count pledges towards our total. CanadaHelps will also issue tax receipts for all donations over $25.
Spread the word! Tell Edmonton friends and family to drop by the Bogani Cafe between 8 p.m. and midnight on June 25, or 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 26 to catch some great free live music, enjoy fantastic food and coffee, and drop their loose change (or even folding change) into our donation boxes. We'll be live-tweeting and Facebooking and YouTubing the event as it unfolds, or you can even do the old-fashioned thing and pop by our website to see an updated total over the 24 hours.
