Courtney Willick
Operations Manager
Courtney Willick was born and raised in Saskatoon, where she began studying music (piano and voice lessons) at a young age. Her love of choral music began and grew when she joined the Saskatoon Children's Choir, and later the Greystone Singers at the University of Saskatchewan, where she received Bachelor's Degrees in Music and Education.
As an opera and art song soloist, she has been fortunate to study all over the world, including New York City and Baden bei Wien, Austria at the prestigious Franz Schubert Institut. She has also performed several seasons with the Saskatoon Opera and Little Opera on the Prairie, in both chorus and leading roles.
After having children and moving to St. Albert, she made a career pivot into birth-work, and has owned and operated a birth doula business since 2022.
Alas, art has called to her once again! Courtney is delighted to be combining the extremely varied skillset she's developed over the years into the role of Operations Manager for Korora. She brings skill and enthusiasm to the role, but above all she brings an unending love of choral music and all it can offer, especially for young people. She is excited to see what the future holds as part of Korora!
